After their brilliant self titled debut album, The Grey have released their second album Dead Fire.
Just like the first album, The Grey have cover artwork by the talented Steve Myles and have once again employed the vocal talents of Anthony Paganelli and David Jakes on 'Silent Man'.
Normally an instrumental group, the use of sound effects and vocals add to the quality of the recordings.
It's business as usual from this talented Cambridge trio as 'Dead Fire' continues to impress.
This isn't necessarily a genre I seek out, but something about the opening track just hooked me, and I find myself entranced by the chorus every time, even after listening.
That same haunting energy persists through the album, and I'm totally into it. Chaos Doverspike
