The stunning instrumental sounds of Kintsukuroi really opens up your mind to different genre's. Some tunes have vocals that add an extra dimension but it's the clever songwriting of real edgy music.
Favorite track: Antimateria.
Sure being a fulltime artist is great and all, but I also work about 60 hrs/week and a lot of it is not fun. When it's the middle of the night, and I'm exhausted, and alone in my studio with a looming deadline and a painting that's already taken so much of my time that it feels like a bad marriage, I have two listening options: 1. The Rich Roll interview with David Goggins, or 2. This album. Pure motivation! Madeline v. F.
Behold. Because all you can do is freeze in time with your jaw dropped in awe as these post-metal mystics interlock their instruments like the Planeteers do with their rings and summon the black musical entity that grinds, haunts, kills and slithers like mechanical hydra thru sea of your consciousness. Full of amazing rhythmic mosaics, venomous licks and complex ornamental knick-knacks. Vertiginous work of art that in it's spirit kinda reminds me of Chevreuil which I love. 𝙅𝙤𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡
